Please remember that any hedgehog seen out in the daytime needs help. Hedgehogs are nocturnal & if they are out in the day this usually indicates a problem. Sometimes it is a youngster trying desperately to find enough food to build up its fat reserves ready for the winter months - they need to weigh at least 600gms to survive the winter. Please contact us or your nearest wildlife centre if you find an underweight hedgehog.
