Wildlife Holidays

Hi Ang here, well last year in september, my partner and I, took off to Scotland for our 2 week holiday, to the Isle of Mull to be precise, and what a place, if you want peace and quiet, no kids around, miles and miles of open country side with the most stunning views, and of course wildlife, its a must for you! Scotland is perfect, I fell in love with the place and it's wildlife, to stand on the long country roads and look up into the sky and see Golden Eagles riding the thermals, is just breathtaking, I think everyone should experience the grace of these wonderful birds. The Red deer you see crossing the roads, even sometimes just poking there heads out of the thick fern hedges, the stags are huge and gorgeous.
We were so lucky to actually watch an otter swimming on the coastline, it was amazing.
As you drive along the coastline, and look out to the water, there on the rocks would be Grey seals and Common seals sunbathing, without a care in the world.
We took a boat out to spot whales (Orca) basking sharks and seals, no whales sadly, but wow the basking sharks were cool, they loved Billy, she was busy feeding them, (sea sickness is a terrible thing), dolphins and porpoise swam around the boat on the way out, jumping high and playing, with theire young,smile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gif what a sight.
What else can i say, you must go and see for yourself, i bet you don't want to come home, I did'nt thats for sure, and next september i'm going back, and I can stand there and see what I see, and go WOW all over again.
ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
