really sorry for the delay Gary but yes, as you probably know by now, the tree climbing foxes were at Vale but now successfully released back into the wild where they belong! In all the years I have 'known' foxes I have never seen one up a tree and would not have believed it if I'd not seen it with my own eyes!! If anyone reading doesn't believe it either here is a the evidence!

Stranage behaviour! I was lucky enough to meet the Foxes, but I didn't see them climb

Gary

PS - I seem to have become a veteran member - makes me sound like an old car!

PPS - I really like your avatar, I presume it is a Scottish Wildcat - is this the one at the Country Park in Evesham?

yes, I took that picture years ago when we first moved there. I couldn't handle a large lens at the time because of back problems so was using a 35-70 on my old Minolta SLR twas a bit scary because he wasn't happy as you can see!! I was also on my stomach on the ground and couldn't get up quick if he decided he REALLY didn't want me there!!

Oops - points for wildlife recognition - zero weirdface.gif

Perhaps I had better stick with Foxes and Hedgehogs confused.gif
