I just hate to see an empty forum gathering dust, so I thought I would give this Puffin a home. Puffin's are one of my favourite birds - its a pity there aren't more within easy travelling distance (this one was on the Farne Islands)
Fantastic picture Gary. What camera & lenses have you got? We have has one puffin in during the 23 years we've been going, but it was many years ago & I don't think he made it sadly.
You'll have to get some of your friends to join the forum, I need some more input from people!!
It is a bit quiet in here, but perhaps a bit of activity will encourage those people that are just watching to join in.
I currently have a Canon 20D and mainly use 400 and 500mm lenses. I'll never be really good at wildlife photography - I can't get up early enough :), I have a lot of fun trying though.
I'll have to see if I can't find something to post in the reptile forum next.....
I have a Canon 10D but don't get much time to use it unfortunately. I have a little Kodak which I take most of the photos of the wildlife that comes in to the hospital with & it takes really good pictures.
I look forward to reading your post in the reptile forum, & I'm sure more people will join soon - we're very new to this forum lark, but the latest Newsletter will go out to 900 members soon with details of the forum in it. New members will come flooding in then....I hope!
