Fox Image (possibly!)

Caroline has suggested that I might add an image or two to the forum.  This is a wild Fox, but one that is reasonably habituated making photography fairly easy.

Great picture Gary. Looks like quite a young one. Do you know anything about him/her?

I can't remember the history of this one, but it is part of a family that live on a landfill site. This site has been used since Victorian times and the older parts of the site have been landscaped. The lorry drivers arrive early from London before the site opens and eat their breakfast whilst waiting. The foxes moved from picking up the discarded scraps to collecting them directly (the drivers throw them food from the windows).

They were originally badly affected with mange, but the chap who has been doing the landscaping treated them orally and now keeps an eye on them.

There is also a Badger's sett and they are partially habituated too.

Sadly access to the site is restricted and I only managed a one-off visit.
